REQUIREMENTS TO COMPETE
- To compete at this show, you will need to be at least graduated Level 2-Yellow Hunt Seat
- Pay a $100 deposit fee at least 2 weeks prior to the show. (If the show has closed entries or we cannot go for some other reason, the $100 deposit will be refunded to you. The deposit will offset any other fees from Windfall Equestrian Center associated with showing, such as coaching or horse use fees.)
COST TO COMPETE
- Fees made payable to Windfall Equestrian Center
- Deposit required $100.00, NON REFUNDABLE, will offset other costs
- Horse Transport Fee $532.00 round trip (billed after the show)
- Coaching Fee $100.00 per day (billed after the show)
- Horse Use Fee (for non-leased horses) $75.00 per day (billed after the show)
- Fees made payable to the horse show are:
- Stabling Fees
- Class Fees
- Membership Fees
- Other Fees
CAN I RESERVE A SPECIFIC HORSE?
- Riders who lease a horse are guaranteed a spot on their leased horse. If you do not lease a horse, you will show the horse that is assigned to you.
IF I PAY THE DEPOSIT, AM I GUARANTEED A SPOT AT THE SHOW?
- No. If you pay the deposit and there are not enough horses or room in the trailer available, not everyone will be able to go, and you will have your deposit refunded to you. We make every effort possible to make sure that everyone gets equal opportunities to show. Note that riders who lease a horse do have priority placement over riders who do not lease.

DO I HAVE TO BRAID MY HORSE FOR THIS SHOW?

- For this show, riders roughly 12 and under should have:
- Jodhpurs
- Paddock Boots
- Garter Straps
- Hair Net
- Gloves

- Riders roughly 13 and up should have:

CAN I SPLIT A HORSE WITH ANOTHER RIDER TO SAVE $$$?
- Yes. We are happy to split costs with one or more other riders to help everyone save money where possible.
AM I EXPECTED TO GET MY HORSE READY FOR THE SHOW?
Yes. You are expected to help prepare your horse for the show the day before (bathing, clipping, braiding, etc.) and to unpack your things upon returning to the barn after the show.
