· Show Starts at 10:00 am each day
Saturday - horsemanship, dressage and western
Sunday - hunt seat
REQUIREMENTS TO COMPETE
- All students are welcome to participate in this show.
- Pay a $100 deposit fee at least 2 weeks prior to the show. (If the show has closed entries or we cannot go for some other reason, the $100 deposit will be refunded to you. The deposit will offset any other fees from Windfall Equestrian Center associated with showing, such as coaching or horse use fees.)
COST TO PARTICIPATE
- Fees made payable to Windfall Equestrian Center
- Deposit required $100.00, NON REFUNDABLE, will offset other costs
- Coaching Fee $100.00 per day (billed after the show)
- Horse Use Fee (for non-leased horses) $75.00 per day (billed after the show)
- Horsemanship Tests $15.00
- Dressage Tests $30.00
- Western Tests $30.00
- Hunt Seat Flat Tests $18.00
- Hunt Seat Over Fences Tests $26.00
- All other levels testing $20.00
CAN I RESERVE A SPECIFIC HORSE?
- Riders who lease a horse are guaranteed a spot on their leased horse. If you do not lease a horse, you will show the horse that is assigned to you.
IF I PAY THE DEPOSIT, AM I GUARANTEED A SPOT AT THE SHOW?
- No. If you pay the deposit and there are not enough horses or room in the trailer available, not everyone will be able to go, and you will have your deposit refunded to you. We make every effort possible to make sure that everyone gets equal opportunities to show. Note that riders who lease a horse do have priority placement over riders who do not lease.

DO I HAVE TO BRAID MY HORSE FOR THIS SHOW?
- Turnout is a factor in your overall score, so braiding and proper show grooming is appropriate.
DO I NEED SHOW CLOTHES FOR THIS SHOW?
- No. However, turnout is a factor in your overall score, so well fitted, clean, proper riding attire is appropriate. You may use lesson helmets.
CAN I SPLIT A HORSE WITH ANOTHER RIDER TO SAVE $$$?
- There are no stabling fees for this show, so there are no fees to split.
AM I EXPECTED TO GET MY HORSE READY FOR THE SHOW?
Yes. You are expected to help prepare your horse for the show the day before (bathing, clipping, braiding, etc.) and to clean up after yourself after the show. Leaving your horse's stall dirty will result in a $20 fee for all riders using that horse.
